Description

As a Truck Driver, you will play a vital role in the transportation of goods and materials. You will be responsible for operating heavy-duty trucks to deliver products, equipment, and supplies to various locations. Your attention to detail, excellent driving skills, and ability to navigate different routes will ensure that our goods are delivered on time and in good condition.

Responsibilities

  • Safely drive heavy-duty trucks to transport products, equipment, and supplies to designated locations.
  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
  • Perform pre and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is safe and in good working condition.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe transportation of goods.
  • Plan routes and follow the most efficient and effective paths to reach each destination.
  • Communicate with dispatchers and team members to coordinate delivery schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of driving activities, including times, distances, and destinations.

Requirements

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience as a truck driver.
  • Ability to operate and maintain various types of trucks, including flatbeds, box trucks, and tractor-trailers.
  • Knowledge of local and state traffic laws and regulations.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and strength to load and unload heavy cargo.
  • Attention to detail and a strong focus on safety.
  • Flexibility to work flexible hours and overtime, as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
